Please find below the Job Description for your review: Executive Project Leader / Project Controls Manager Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC We are seeking an experienced Executive Project Leader / Project Controls Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of major Oil & Gas EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects, preferably within ADNOC and other leading international operators, with strong expertise in project controls, engineering management, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities • Lead the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex EPC projects. • Develop and implement project control strategies covering planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and progress monitoring. • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and earned value analysis (EVM). • Lead project planning using Primavera P6 and ensure schedule compliance. • Oversee project risk management, change management, delay analysis, and claims support. • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout Pre-FEED, FEED, Tendering, and EPC phases. • Manage subcontractors, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure timely project execution. • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, HSE requirements, quality procedures, and contractual obligations. • Prepare executive dashboards, project reports, and management presentations. • Lead interface management across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance and delivery excellence. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline). • 20–30+ years of experience in Project Management and Project Controls within the Oil & Gas/EPC industry. • Extensive experience delivering major ADNOC or Middle East EPC projects. • Proven experience in managing large multidisciplinary EPC projects from concept through commissioning. • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, and contract administration. • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and project reporting tools. • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
