Position Overview The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the company’s people strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. This role requires a commercially minded HR leader with experience in scaling technology organisations, particularly within AI, SaaS, software product, or deep-tech environments. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the executive leadership team to develop people strategies that support rapid growth, organisational transformation, talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, and performance excellence. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership • Develop and execute the company’s overall Human Resources strategy aligned with business objectives. • Partner with executive leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategy. • Build scalable HR policies, frameworks, and operating models suitable for a high-growth technology organisation. • Lead organisational change initiatives during periods of expansion and transformation. Talent Acquisition • Build and lead a best-in-class Talent Acquisition function. • Develop hiring strategies for engineering, AI research, product management, sales, customer success, and corporate functions. • Establish employer branding initiatives to attract top-tier technology talent globally. • Drive executive hiring and leadership recruitment. Performance Management • Design and implement performance management frameworks. • Introduce KPI and OKR-driven performance evaluation systems. • Develop compensation review and performance calibration processes. • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Learning & Leadership Development • Build leadership development programs for managers and senior leaders. • Design employee learning initiatives focused on technical, managerial, and behavioural competencies. • Establish succession planning and career development frameworks. Employee Engagement & Culture • Champion an employee-first culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, diversity, equity, and inclusion. • Design employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs. • Conduct employee surveys and implement improvement plans. • Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations matters. Compensation & Benefits • Design competitive compensation structures aligned with market benchmarks. • Lead annual compensation reviews and bonus planning. • Develop equity and long-term incentive programs. • Optimize employee benefits to support attraction and retention. HR Operations & Compliance • Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple jurisdictions. • Develop HR governance, policies, and employee handbooks. • Oversee payroll coordination, HRIS, employee records, and workforce analytics. • Manage HR budgets and vendor relationships. HR Analytics • Establish people analytics dashboards and workforce metrics. • Track hiring effectiveness, attrition, diversity metrics, employee engagement, and productivity. • Present strategic HR insights to executive leadership and the Board. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related discipline. • MBA or Master’s degree preferred. • 15+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role. • Experience working within AI, SaaS, software product, cloud technology, fintech, or technology-driven organisations. • Demonstrated experience supporting rapid organisational growth and scaling teams globally. • Strong understanding of modern HR practices, talent management, and organisational development. • Experience managing multi-country HR operations is highly desirable. Preferred Experience • High-growth startup or scale-up experience. • Experience supporting AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Product Engineering, and Cloud teams. • Exposure to ESOP administration and executive compensation. • Experience implementing HR technology platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, BambooHR, Darwinbox, or Rippling. • Familiarity with agile organizational structures and digital transformation initiatives.
