Job Description We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic IT professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. This position is based at Al Ain Rotana. As an Information Technology Operations Manager you are responsible to monitor the operation of all computer hardware installation and maintenance and your role will include key responsibilities such as- • Serve as primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware. • Maintain licenses for all software and ensure that the proper maintenance contacts cover all systems. • Maintain a sufficient inventory of computer related supplies. • Maintain a log of all computer hardware and a log of all services calls on computer hardware. • Manage the configuration records, programme files and data files on the computer system. • Monitor the performance of the computer software and maintain a log of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions and solutions. • Develop and manage an effective and operative framework for improving Rotana Service Desk www.rotanaservicedesk.com IT Support to provide the best available level of services and business continuity in a professional manner. • Generate periodically reports on customer support issues and evaluate the overall operation to deliver outstanding service. • Ensure that regular on-going trainings is provided to IT colleagues to provide and enhance the delivered level of customer support. • Monitor and oversee the Hotel network overall performance and IT Systems to guarantee a smooth Hotel IT operation. • Coordinate with other departments to recognize and solve all their requirements to ensure business and operational continuity. • Interact with IT vendors, external suppliers, and other contractual partners to ensure procurement and IT services are delivered on time. • Interact with IT Systems Support and other IT Services Partners to ensure IT Support services are delivered on time appropriately. • Ensure that technology and systems resources are well maintained to their maximum performance and availability. • Implement policy and procedures to guarantee data and assets availability, integrity, and security as per the company standards and ensure business continuity. • Follow-up & comply with Rotana Centralized Service Team for “Change Notifications” implementation. • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment. • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Skills Education, Qualifications & Experiences You should have a degree in the information technology field and previous experiences in a similar role along with a proven knowledge on all IT related sectors. An excellent command of English and the ability to design networks and provide technical leads are essential.
