G+1 Civil Engineer – Renovation & Fit-Out Projects Location: Dubai, UAE Position: G+1 Licensed Civil Engineer Employment Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience We are looking for an experienced and responsible G+1 Licensed Civil Engineer to join our construction and renovation team in Dubai. The position is hands-on and requires strong practical knowledge of villa renovation, apartment renovation, fit-out and general construction works. The engineer will be responsible for site supervision, coordination of workers and subcontractors, material procurement and ensuring that projects are completed according to the required quality and schedule. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and manage daily construction, renovation and fit-out works at villas, apartments and other residential projects. * Organize and distribute workers between project sites according to the work requirements. * Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and different trades, including civil, gypsum, flooring, tiling, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other MEP works. * Monitor site progress, workmanship and quality, ensuring that works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. * Read, understand and work with architectural, structural, MEP and detailed construction drawings. * Use AutoCAD to read, modify and prepare drawings, layouts and construction details when required. * Take site measurements and verify dimensions, levels and details before execution. * Identify technical and construction issues on site and provide practical solutions. * Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams. * Manage the procurement of construction and finishing materials, including preparing material requirements, checking quantities and specifications, comparing prices and coordinating purchases and deliveries. * Check delivered materials and ensure that they meet the required specifications and quality. * Monitor manpower, work sequencing and material availability to maintain project progress. * Coordinate inspections and assist with permits, approvals and NOCs when required. * Follow up on rectification and finishing works and ensure that defects are properly completed. * Prepare site progress updates and maintain necessary project documentation. * Ensure that works comply with approved drawings, project requirements and applicable UAE/Dubai construction standards and authority requirements. * Monitor basic site safety requirements and ensure workers follow safe working practices. Requirements * Valid G+1 Civil Engineer license / qualification suitable for construction projects in Dubai. * Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience. * Strong practical experience in villa renovation, apartment renovation, fit-out and general construction. * Good knowledge of civil, architectural and finishing works. * Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. * Good working knowledge of AutoCAD. * Practical understanding of MEP coordination. * Good knowledge of construction and finishing materials and their applications. * Experience in material procurement and dealing with construction material suppliers. * Strong site supervision, organization and problem-solving skills. * Ability to coordinate workers, subcontractors and multiple trades across different project locations. * Good spoken and written English. * Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site activities. * Valid UAE driving license is mandatory. * Must be willing and able to travel between multiple project locations in Dubai.
