Job Purpose Lead strategic and operational sourcing for Sinyar’s client portfolio, providing governance, cost-efficiency, and value-driven outcomes. Responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing sourcing team, developing vendor partnerships, and driving business growth with a profit-centre mindset. Ensure sourcing activities are compliant, transparent, and aligned with both client requirements and corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities • Direct and manage sourcing teams (Managers, Officers, Specialists) to deliver strategic and operational sourcing activities across multiple client accounts. • Oversee workload distribution to optimize resources and ensure timely delivery of sourcing requirements. • Build and manage client relationships, leading weekly operational reviews and monthly performance reporting. • Identify opportunities to expand Sinyar’s client services through procurement-driven initiatives. • Supervise sourcing events (RFPs/RFQs), guiding teams on evaluation methods, negotiation strategies, and contract awards. • Lead high-level supplier negotiations to secure long-term, cost-effective partnerships. • Develop future sourcing and manpower plans in collaboration with end users and stakeholders. • Coordinate with Contracts Department and end users to manage supplier disputes and settlements effectively. • Implement sourcing policies, digital platforms, and systems to streamline procurement operations and improve compliance. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track cost savings, sourcing efficiency, and client satisfaction. • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and audit standards across all sourcing activities. • Mentor and coach sourcing staff, supporting talent development and succession planning. Key Relationships • Internal: Executive leadership, Project Directors, Finance, Operations, and other departments. • External: Clients, suppliers, service providers, government authorities. Qualifications & Experience • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. • Experience: Minimum 10 years in procurement, including at least 5 years in a senior management role (preferably in construction or facilities management). • Knowledge: • Procurement processes and regulations in the UAE. • Import/export requirements. • Strong awareness of UAE supplier market (hospitality and facilities sectors preferred). • Skills: • Strategic negotiation and vendor management. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Advanced planning, analytical, and organizational capabilities. • Strong leadership with ability to perform under pressure.
