Job Description Mechanical Technician Posting Start Date: 9/20/26 Requisition ID: 72191 Apply now Informations générales Jubail, Saudi Arabia, 35713 JUBAIL O&M COMPANY LIMITED Operation / Production Sites Flex Gen Permanent Full - Time Position Summary: To work in a multicultural team of Maintenance Technicians and apply specialist mechanical expertise to carry out fault investigations, defect and preventative maintenance, together with modifications on a range of plant. To ensure plant mechanical equipment is maintained to maximize the reliability and availability of plant utilizing Work Instructions documented in the Maintenance Management System, OEM guidelines and under the instruction of the Mechanical Engineer. To assist the Mechanical Engineer in ensuring that all mechanical equipment is well maintained and all notifications of planned and unplanned work are completed on time Functions/ Task: Safety at Work Ensures the compliance of IMS. Ensures a safe working environment for himself, his colleagues and contractors while working on any equipment Ensures that there is a Permit to Work for each job as necessitated by the safety rules and associated Procedures. Ensures all Method Statements Work Instruction and Procedures are followed by himself and Contractors while undertaking any work Ensures that all appropriate tools are available to ensure work can be carried out safely on equipment on all jobs at the plant Points out any unsafe conditions to the Mechanical Engineer or Shift Team Leader. Maintenance Task Planning and Execution Completes all Work Orders generated in CMMS as directed by the Mechanical Engineer Ensures that maintenance of all mechanical equipment is in accordance with OEM Manuals and best practices for the equipment Works to full potential and produces high quality of work Equipment Failure Trouble Shooting and Repair Supports the 24-hour operation by being regularly available for call-out at short notice. Attempts all possible means of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high Plant availability Records and reports to the Mechanical Foreman/Engineer all rectification jobs undertaken. Reporting and Planning Discuss planned and unplanned jobs undertaken with the Mechanical Foreman/ Mechanical Engineer Use of Tools and Equipment Ensures appropriate tools and equipment are available at work sites and used while performing any job Ensures that tools are in a safe and in good working order before use. Reports loss of tools or damage to any tools to the Mechanical Engineer Informs the Mechanical Engineer of any requirements for tools Accountable for Outcomes: Continuous on-the-job application of RGPC HSE Procedures Frequency of safety incidents and near misses. Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR); No EHS Compliance breaches. Work completion on time Completion of reports/record sheets Work quality to high standard. Efficiency at work 24-hour accessibility Quality of records and reports. Maintenance Task Planning and Execution: Complete all Work Orders in CMMS as directed by Mechanical Engineer, maintain equipment according to OEM manuals and best practices, maximize plant reliability and availability, perform high-quality work. Equipment Failure Troubleshooting and Repair: Support 24-hour operation by being available for call-out on short notice, minimize downtime, ensure high plant availability, record and report rectification work to Mechanical Foreman/Engineer. Reporting and Planning: Discuss planned and unplanned jobs with Mechanical Foreman/Engineer. Use of Tools and Equipment: Ensure tools and equipment are available, safe, and in good working order; report tool loss or damage and tool requirements. Accountability for Outcomes: Implement RGPC HSE procedures on the job, monitor safety incidents and LTIFR, complete work on time with high quality records and reports.
