Apply now » Job Title: Mechanical Lead (ISI/FAC) Posting Date: 2 Oct 2026 Requisition ID: 3975 Location: Barakah Posting Status: Inactive Recruitment Job Purpose Lead mechanical In-Service Inspection (ISI) and Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) turbine and refuel services, including those provided by contractors, for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) outages to achieve the long-term outage plan and meet outage schedules to ensure overall business performance objectives are achieved in accordance to ENEC Operations standards and procedures. Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability ISI and FAC Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Perform FAC testing and inspections to maintain highly functioning equipment and support safe operations. • Perform FAC performance monitoring and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) testing to maintain system fidelity and support safe operations. • Perform component repairs and replacements to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. ISI and FAC Support Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Perform engineering activities associated with ISI and FAC to maintain system fidelity and support safe operations. • Establish performance monitoring plan for ISI and FAC to maintain highly functioning equipment and minimize corrective maintenance needs. • Perform technical review regarding plant design changes or temporary modifications to ensure plant safety is not impacted and maintain operational excellence. • Request procurement for equipment spare parts to remain prepared for any plant modification needs related to ISI and FAC. • Develop documents related to installation and service contracts and provide oversight on maintenance activities to ensure contracted services are delivered efficiently. • Review and revise ISI and FAC related procedures to ensure procedures are available and relevant. • Perform periodic and surveillance tests as required to support daily plant operations. • Administer equipment and material master data updates to ensure inventory is properly managed at BNPP. • Perform technical administrative duties as assigned by department Manager to support daily activities. Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Support outage and/or the emergency response organization, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support. Professional Certifications Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Science. Experience Min - • 6 to 7 years of relevant experience, out of which: - 1 year in a nuclear power plant engineering. Pref - • 9 years of relevant experience of which: - 4 years in Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Nuclear Power Plant experience at an operational site and or Advanced Pressurized-water Reactor APR-1400, Open Pool Reactor (OPR)-1000 or Combustion Engineering Nuclear Steam Supply System (CE NSSS) Design, Work Management or Outage Management experience, as applicable for position. Perform FAC testing, inspections, performance monitoring, and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) testing. Execute component repairs and replacements to ensure safe, reliable plant operations. Conduct ISI and FAC engineering activities, establish performance monitoring plans, review plant design changes or temporary modifications, request procurement for spare parts, develop installation/service contract documents, oversee maintenance activities, revise ISI/FAC procedures, perform periodic/surveillance tests, manage equipment and material master data, and perform technical administrative duties. Support outage and Emergency Response Organization as assigned, including potential shift/off-hours. Adhere to HSE, security, and business continuity policies; participate in risk identification and mitigation.
