About the role

Requirements

• Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
• - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• - Diploma in a related engineering discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• - Solid knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
• - Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE, etc.).
• - Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.
• - Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
• - Good communication and reporting skills.
• - Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus.
• - Ability to work effectively on-site in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• - Conduct site inspections of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical installations.
• - Verify contractor compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and local codes.
• - Monitor construction activities and report any deviations or non-conformances.
• - Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• - Review MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• - Prepare detailed daily inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• - Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover processes for MEP systems.
• - Ensure that work is performed in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
• - Support project engineers with technical site inspections and documentation.
