POWER PLANT TECHNICIAN

Required to perform a semi-skilled and/or skilled tasks related to preventive maintenance, and test running of the power generators. To check the Power Generators and Power Plant System every morning. To Run Generator Sets without load every weekend and report to Power Plant Supervisor. PPM of all Generators Sets, starting batteries and control batteries. PPM of W1 every month for each Generator set. PPM of W2 every four months for each Generator set. PPM of W3 every 1 year for each Generator set. To check every day operation of fuel pumps and pre-heater. Monitor and maintain the Engine Room. To take all reading of all WH Meters for Hospital and Housing. To take hourly reading for MDB and transformer load. PPM of all electrical MDB, Switch Gear and transformers in Hospital & Housing Complex. To help the Supervisor in all works. Fully aware and actively implement the departmental policies and procedures, and JCI, ISO and Aramco standards or requirements related to the department. Facilitate requirements of Utility Management System relevant to organization wide functions and processes. Actively involves in indicator development, data collection for the department and to measure the performance of the function, process, and outcome. Whenever required, conducts analysis and interpretation of data/information collected. Participate in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs. Actively reports incidents in the system and whenever needed, participates in incident review, and root cause analysis. Requirements: At least 3 years work experience in similar settings. Experienced in a healthcare setting. Electrical Diploma from any recognized University/Institution.

Perform preventive and test-running maintenance on power generators; conduct daily checks of Power Generators and Power Plant System; run Generator Sets without load on weekends and report to Power Plant Supervisor; perform preventive planned maintenance (PPM) on all Generator Sets, starting batteries and control batteries; conduct monthly PPM of W1 for each Generator set; conduct quarterly PPM of W2; conduct annual PPM of W3; inspect daily operation of fuel pumps and pre-heater; monitor and maintain the Engine Room; take all readings of WH Meters for Hospital and Housing; take hourly readings for MDB and transformer load; perform PPM of all electrical MDBs, Switch Gear and transformers in Hospital & Housing Complex; assist the Supervisor in all tasks; adhere to departmental policies and ISO/JCI/Aramco standards; support Utility Management System requirements; contribute to indicator development and data collection to measure performance; participate in Safety Management & Risk Management programs, report incidents, participate in incident reviews and root cause analysis.
