OT Cybersecurity Engineer Apply now » Date: 12 Oct 2026 Location: Jubail Industrial City, SA, 31961 Company: Advanced Petrochemical Company Brief Job Description: OT Cybersecurity Operations Implement and maintain OT cybersecurity controls across industrial control systems. Monitor OT environments to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities. Support cybersecurity incident investigations and remediation activities. Perform system hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring. Manage OT asset inventories and maintain accurate cybersecurity documentation. Backup, Recovery & System Reliability Ensure the secure backup, restoration, and recoverability of critical OT systems. Support disaster recovery and business continuity requirements. Maintain system availability and operational reliability through proactive cybersecurity measures. Compliance & Governance Support the Corporate Cybersecurity (CISO) organization in implementing cybersecurity requirements. Facilitate compliance activities, audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews. Collect and maintain cybersecurity evidence and documentation required for audits. Track remediation actions and ensure timely closure of findings. Project & Change Management Participate in Management of Change (MOC) activities and Design Change Requests (DCR). Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and startup activities. Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, cybersecurity consultants, and external auditors. Provide cybersecurity input for system upgrades, modifications, and modernization projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Control System Engineers, Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering teams. Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices across plant operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OT cybersecurity maturity and operational resilience. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Electronics Engineering , or a related discipline. Master's Degree in Cybersecurity , Information Security , Industrial Automation , or Control Systems Engineering is preferred. Experience 4-6 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, OT infrastructure, or cybersecurity within: Petrochemical Refining Oil & Gas Power Generation Process Industries Experience with Industrial Ethernet and OT networking technologies. Knowledge of: OT Asset Management System Hardening Vulnerability Management Patch Management Backup & Recovery Cybersecurity Monitoring Experience supporting audits, compliance assessments, and cybersecurity remediation programs. Familiarity with MOC, DCR, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities. 4-6 years in industrial automation, control systems, OT infrastructure, or cybersecurity within petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas, power generation, or process industries; minimum 2-3 years of direct hands-on experience supporting OT/ICS cybersecurity environments; experience with Industrial Ethernet and OT networking technologies; experience in OT asset inventory management, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, backup & recovery, and cybersecurity monitoring; familiarity with Management of Change (MOC), Design Change Requests (DCR), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities; experience working with system vendors, cybersecurity consultants, OEMs, and external auditors.

Provide technical support for OT cybersecurity across industrial control systems (DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA) and OT assets; implement OT cybersecurity requirements in coordination with the Corporate Cybersecurity (CISO) organization; facilitate compliance activities and provide evidence for audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews; ensure secure, reliable, and recoverable operation of OT systems through cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, backup and recovery management, and implementation of approved cybersecurity controls; collaborate with Control System Engineers, Operations, and Engineering personnel; support strategic planning and performance management related to OT cybersecurity.
