Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

- Ensure that personal approvals/licenses are valid and applicable to aircraft types and - power plant systems and components. - Perform aircraft airframe maintenance in accordance with Airbus standard practices, - including inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and component replacement using - approved technical data. - Perform maintenance on aircraft engines and related powerplant systems following - Airbus standard practices, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer - requirements. - Perform all required maintenance tasks accurately, safely, and in accordance with - approved data. - Ensure that all work performed in connection with maintenance is in accordance with - the requirements/recommendations of the manufacturers. - Ensure the approved methods, tooling, procedures and materials are used in carrying - out the said work. - Ensure all work orders, inspection schedules, are properly completed & certified before - issuing RTS. - Signs off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of own - authorization, verify that the task card and associated documents have been completed - to the required standard following completion of all maintenance. - Ensure all off-aircraft tasks i.e. spares handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled - in compliance with company procedures. - Ensure AMOS and related documentation is updated. - Carry out component changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or - as directed by supervisor. - Ensures proper tooling / equipment is drawn from stores to perform tasks, returning all - of it in good condition following completion of work. - Ensure that only approved materials and parts are used, and the approved spares have - necessary documentation and certification before installation on the aircraft. - Assist in recovery process of an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) anywhere within the - operation - Handle the safety of assigned maintenance tasks, ensure that all published mandatory - precautions are taken prior to commencing work and during task execution. Requirements: - Valid GACA A & P/FAA or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License. - A320 (CFM56/LEAP 1A) family type rating with engine run. - Minimum +4 years’ experience in a Line/Base aircraft Maintenance environment on the A320 aircraft. - Detailed knowledge of regulations including GACAR Chapter ‘C’ Aircraft, EASA Part CAMO, Part 145, Part 21, FAA FAR Part 43 and Part 91. - Expert in using and navigating Airbus technical manuals including the TSM (Troubleshooting Manual), AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog), MEL (Minimum Equipment List), and CDL (Configuration Deviation List).

Perform aircraft airframe maintenance in accordance with Airbus standard practices, including inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and component replacement using approved data; perform maintenance on aircraft engines and related powerplant systems following approved data; ensure all work performed is in accordance with manufacturer requirements, approved methods, tooling, procedures and materials; ensure work orders and inspection schedules are properly completed and certified before RTS; sign off maintenance tasks within own authorization scope and verify task cards and documents are completed to required standards; ensure off-aircraft tasks (spares handling, hold items, etc.) are compliant with procedures; keep AMOS and related documentation updated; carry out component changes as necessary as part of troubleshooting or as directed by supervisor; ensure proper tooling/equipment is drawn from stores and returned in good condition; ensure only approved materials and parts with required documentation are used; assist in recovery of AOG; manage safety of maintenance tasks and ensure mandatory precautions are observed.
