JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE: To execute and control contract-related activities across the pre-award, execution, and close-out phases of MRO projects by analyzing, interpreting, and managing contractual obligations, variations, claims, risks, and compliance requirements, and by coordinating effectively with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, to support commercial optimization and safeguard IMI’s legal and financial interests. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Execute contract administration activities in full alignment with IMI policies, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent and compliant contract governance. - Prepare and review contract documents and commercial correspondence to ensure accurate communication of contractual obligations to project teams. - Coordinate project invoicing by assembling complete invoice packages and securing required approvals to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition. - Maintain organized and audit-ready project records including invoices, expenses, and billing documents to ensure traceability and documentation integrity. - Draft and validate contractual correspondence, notifications, and meeting records to ensure accurate representation of IMI’s contractual rights and compliance position. - Track contractual schedule requirements and milestone commitments to ensure timely performance reporting and adherence to contractual timelines. - Maintain and update a detailed Issues Log to ensure transparent tracking and communication of all commercial and contractual matters affecting project performance. - Analyze compensation terms, variations, and claims to ensure correct entitlement determination and maximize revenue protection opportunities. - Monitor project actions, meeting outcomes, and warranty notifications to ensure closure of assigned obligations and timely resolution of warranty claims. - Assess contractual risks, scope changes, cost/schedule variances, and estimate build-ups to ensure accurate risk evaluation, entitlement identification, and commercial optimization across the project lifecycle. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree Qualified (or equivalent) or 12 years proven experience in shipyard MRO. - Background in engineering preferable (but not essential). - Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) - Project Management Professional (PMP) - SAP or Oracle ERP Training – Focused on contract and procurement modules
