Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician provides direct support to patients and assists nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective patient care. The role supports patients’ daily needs, comfort, mobility, and overall well-being while following hospital policies and safety standards. Requirements: Key Responsibilities - Assist patients with daily activities, personal care, mobility, and positioning. - Measure and record patients’ vital signs as required. - Assist with transferring and transporting patients safely. - Support nurses and clinical staff with basic patient care activities. - Monitor patients and promptly report any changes or concerns to the nursing team. - Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment. - Assist with preparing patient rooms and care areas. - Follow infection control, safety, and patient privacy procedures. - Handle and maintain basic patient care equipment appropriately. - Provide respectful and compassionate support to patients and their families. - Perform other duties related to the role as assigned. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Patient Care, Healthcare, or a related field. - Valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). - Previous hospital or healthcare experience is preferred. - Basic understanding of patient care and safety practices. - Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
