Join Lenovo's Group CTO KSA R&D Center as an AI Research Scientist , where you will help shape the next generation of intelligent systems across robotics, autonomous platforms, smart environments, and industrial AI. This role is ideal for an experienced AI professional passionate about transforming advanced research into scalable, real-world solutions. Working within a global R&D environment, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI technologies spanning computer vision, multimodal AI, agentic systems, and Edge AI while collaborating with international research and engineering teams. What You Will Do: - Research, develop, and optimize AI, machine learning, computer vision, and agentic AI solutions for real-world applications. - Design and implement perception systems including object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, pose estimation, and recognition. - Develop AI capabilities for robotics and autonomous systems, including localization, sensor fusion, navigation, prediction, and decision-making. - Build and integrate LLMs, VLMs, multimodal models, and AI agents to enhance intelligent reasoning and human-machine interaction. - Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI models across edge and cloud environments to meet performance, scalability, latency, and cost objectives. - Evaluate emerging AI technologies and foundation models through benchmarking, prototyping, and performance assessment. - Collaborate with global research, engineering, and product teams to transition research outcomes into production-ready solutions. - Contribute to innovation initiatives through technical publications, patent development, and intellectual property creation. What We Look For: - Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related technical field. - Minimum 3 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning, computer vision, or agentic AI solutions from research to production. - Strong expertise in computer vision methodologies including detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, and sensor fusion. - Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV. - Experience working with LLMs, VLMs, multimodal AI systems, foundation models, and autonomous AI applications. - Strong programming skills in Python, with working knowledge of C++ preferred. - Experience deploying AI solutions on edge and/or cloud platforms with a focus on scalability and operational efficiency. - Proficiency in English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
