Senior Project Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics - Monitor and report on project progress and performance, identifying any variances from established objectives - Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project issues - Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders - Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to project control processes - Implement best practices in project controls to optimize project outcomes - Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline - 10+ years of proven experience in project control within large-scale construction projects - Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Earned Value Management - Proficient in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) - Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment - Experience in leading project control strategies is a plus
