Purpose of the position: As Vessel Operations Engineer, you will respond/report to the Project Operations Manager and be part of various projects within the Operations Department. How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: This role provides operational and technical support during tenders and project execution phases, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards. Engineering Support: Review documentation, suggest improvements, and support the engineering team in planning and execution phases. Project Operations: Assist both offshore and onshore teams with installation, diving, pre-commissioning, trenching, and hook-up operations. Planning & Coordination: Coordinate equipment, material logistics, and cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and compliance. Safety & Compliance: Ensure QA/QC & HSE standards are met; actively participate in risk assessments and safety briefings. Execution Oversight: Supervise key activities during vessel mobilization/demobilization, loadouts, and critical offshore operations. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and lessons learned to enhance procedures, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Commercial Support: Offer technical input to the commercial team for proposals and contractual matters. Ensuring smooth execution during mobilization, testing, and installation phases Leading and managing a team composed of: Junior engineers (method/operations) Draftsmen Ensuring timely preparation of all installation documents What are we looking for? Education Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) Other engineering disciplines may also be considered Experience 5–7 years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas / EPC Languages Proficient in English Technical Skills / Knowledge Strong experience in offshore oil and gas installations including jackets, top sides, bridges, and heavy lifting operations.
