About the role

Requirements

• - Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Goods Inspector.
• - In-depth knowledge of aircraft technical documentation (e.g., ATA 49, 7x, 8x).
• - Familiarity with part certification regulations (GACA, EASA, FAA).
• - Understanding of company processes and procedures applicable to the work environment and personnel.
• - Minimum General Secondary Education Certificate or Technical and Vocational Training degree.
• - Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is mandatory.
• - Knowledge of IATA safety and regulatory compliance.
• - Expertise in handling Hazardous Materials, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Suspected Unapproved Parts.
• - Awareness of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols.
• - Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• - Evaluate the condition of incoming goods by inspecting packaging, labeling, and attached documentation to ensure compliance with aviation safety and regulatory standards.
• - Identify and document damages, defects, or discrepancies in received items and initiate corrective actions or reporting procedures.
• - Verify accuracy and compliance of accompanying documentation, such as certificates of authenticity, conformity, modification status, and quality assurance documents.
• - Make decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of received goods based on established quality criteria.
• - Oversee processes for handling non-conforming or rejected items, including coordinating returns, replacements, or corrective actions.
• - Enter inspection results and related information into databases or record-keeping systems.
• - Generate reports detailing inspection outcomes, non-conformances, and other relevant data.
