About the opportunity As talabat continues to grow and keep ahead of the curve we have launched our very own end-end grocery service across the MENA region: tMart We’re looking for a Assistant Store Supervisor to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minutedelivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq! - Responsible for the operations of the store during his shift, in terms of end to -end operation: managing staff , Ordering, Inbound receiving, stocking, Pick and pack orders - Assists Store supervisor to manage all store operations (i.e. selecting people, scheduling shifts, routine and preventive maintenance, …) - Assists Store supervisor for Ordering / Store replenishment: by Ensure proper stock in stores (No OOS or OVS) and help to assessing the inventory and issuing orders based on the input and assessment of demand planner plus physical stock assessment - Inventory management: Support Store supervisor by Ensuring effective stock control function and practices. Support Implementation of inventory process to ensure adequate stock levels and accurate inventory by conducting Store Stock take & Cycle count based on the agreed schedule - Inbound receiving: During his shift , to ensure Accurate receiving of orders as per policies & SOP - Outbound: During his shift , to ensure Efficient and accurate picking and packing of customer orders, as per SOP - Support Store supervisor by monitoring fulfillment processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and profits. What you need to be successful - You have at least 3-5 years of experience in supermarket or restaurant - You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job. - Good communication skills, and always like to be hands-on with several tools. - Additionally, you have robust interpersonal and intercultural skills. - Language skills: Fluent English and Arabic would be highly advantageous. - Help Store supervisor by Ensuring implementation of actions pertinent to store-related shrinkages - Supervising the effective implementation of hygiene, sanitation, security and safety standards, as well as service level standards and ensuring a high level customer service both internally and externally during his shift - Discussing with the Store supervisor all issues/problems and propose solutions Who we are When you think of food delivery in the MENA region, we’d be pretty surprised if talabat didn’t pop into your mind first! • At least 3-5 years of experience in supermarket or restaurant environments. • Strong communication skills with a hands-on approach and comfort using multiple tools. • Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills. • Fluency in English; Arabic would be highly advantageous. • Ability to implement store-related shrinkage actions and oversee hygiene, sanitation, security, safety standards, and service levels. • Able to discuss issues with the Store supervisor and propose practical solutions.
• Manage store operations during the shift, including end-to-end processes: staff management, ordering, inbound receiving, stocking, and pick-and-pack of orders. • Assist Store Supervisor with overall store operations: selecting people, scheduling shifts, and routine/preventive maintenance. • Assist with ordering/store replenishment to maintain stock levels (preventOut-Of-Stock and out-of-variance situations) based on demand input and physical stock assessment. • Support inventory management: ensure effective stock control, implement inventory processes, conduct stock takes and cycle counts per schedule. • Oversee inbound receiving to ensure accurate receipt of orders per policies and SOPs. • Oversee outbound processes to ensure accurate picking and packing of customer orders per SOP. • Monitor fulfillment processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and profitability. • Ensure implementation of actions related to shrinkage control. • Supervise hygiene, sanitation, security, safety standards, and service levels, delivering high customer service both internally and externally during the shift. • Discuss issues with the Store Supervisor and propose solutions.
