Specialist Planning Engineer (Offshore)

Specialist Planning Engineer (Offshore) Penspen is urgently looking for Specialist Planning Engineer (Offshore) role for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring offshore construction activities. Duties include updating project schedules, measuring progress, analyzing delays and critical paths, preparing reports and forecasts, and developing recovery plans with construction teams and contractors. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain offshore construction schedules using Primavera P6. - Monitor progress against the approved baseline schedule. - Analyze critical paths, delays, productivity, and schedule risks. - Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and S-curves. - Coordinate planning inputs from construction, engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams. - Develop recovery plans and recommend corrective actions. - Verify contractor progress and ensure accurate progress measurement. Requirements - Bachelor's in engineering, Project Management, or a related field. - Minimum 17+ years of experience in project planning and cost control within the oil and gas industry, including offshore project exposure. - Minimum 5+ years in Offshore Projects is mandatory - PMC experience will be preferred - Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage - Strong knowledge of planning and cost control tools (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, Excel). - Excellent understanding of project lifecycle, budgeting, and earned value management. - Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. - Strong analytical and communication skills. #LI-JM1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16345
