Senior I&C & Automation/Telecom Engineer

Senior I&C & Automation/Telecom Engineer Penspen is hiring an experienced Senior I&C & Automation/Telecom Engineer with a strong PMC experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with client specifications, international standards, and project requirements throughout the engineering and project lifecycle. Key responsibilities: - Execute and coordinate Instrumentation, Control, Automation, and Telecom engineering activities for FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and brownfield projects. - Prepare, review, and approve engineering deliverables, including instrument datasheets, instrument index, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, control narratives, cause & effect charts, logic diagrams, and system architecture drawings. - Design and specify field instrumentation, control valves, analyzers, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, Fire & Gas (F&G), and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). - Participate in HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, FAT, SAT, and design review workshops. - Review vendor documents and provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution. - Support site surveys, brownfield modifications, troubleshooting, commissioning, and handover activities. - Ensure engineering activities are completed in accordance with project quality, HSE, schedule, and budget requirements. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline. - 15+ years of oil & gas experience in the oil and gas industry. - 5+ years in PMC projects - Solid background in multi‑discipline engineering team EPC project. - Experience supporting procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities. - Strong experience in greenfield & brownfield terminal and facilities upgrade projects. - GCC/Middle East oil & gas project experience is preferred. #LI-JM1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16238
