Lead Project Engineer

Lead Project Engineer Penspen is hiring a dynamic Lead Project Engineer with extensive PMC experience to join our PMC team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities during FEED and Detailed Engineering phases. - Manage engineering scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resources for terminal and facilities upgrade projects. - Ensure engineering designs comply with client specifications, international codes and standards, and HSE requirements. - Coordinate interfaces between engineering disciplines, clients, licensors, vendors, and third-party consultants. - Lead design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, constructability, and value engineering workshops. - Review and approve engineering deliverables, technical queries, material requisitions, and vendor documents. - Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up by resolving engineering issues and managing design changes. - Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. - 17+ years of oil & gas experience in the oil and gas industry. - 5+ years in PMC projects - Solid background in multi‑discipline engineering team EPC project. - Experience managing FEED, detailed design, and EPC project phases. - Strong experience in greenfield & brownfield terminal and facilities upgrade projects. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - PMP certification and Middle East/GCC project experience are preferred. #LI-JM1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16233
