Sr. Commissioning Engineer (Telecom) - Offshore, WHT, Subsea & Piping, BF Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Sr. Commissioning Engineer (Telecom) - Offshore, WHTs, Subsea & Piping, BFs for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi. Qualification Required - The candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical & Communication Engineering from an accredited university. Responsibilities - lead and execute telecommunications commissioning activities for offshore oil & gas projects, including Wellhead Towers (WHTs), subsea cable and pipeline developments, and brownfield modification projects. - responsible for ensuring telecom systems are installed, tested, integrated, commissioned, and handed over safely and efficiently in compliance with project specifications, international standards, operational requirements, and project schedules. - acts as the focal point between engineering, construction, vendors, commissioning teams, operations, and clients for all telecom-related commissioning activities - Develop telecom commissioning strategies, procedures, and execution plans. - Prepare Commissioning Execution Plans (CEP), systemization, and commissioning dossiers. - Define telecom system boundaries and handover sequences. - Review engineering deliverables, vendor documentation, and telecom philosophies. - Lead commissioning and testing of Offshore telephone systems, IP telephony systems, Intercom systems, PABX systems - Lead commissioning and testing of Data & Network Systems, Radio Communication Systems, Safety & Security Systems, Offshore Telecom Systems - Support commissioning of subsea fiber optic communication systems associated with subsea pipelines and cable installations. - Verify communication interfaces between offshore facilities and onshore control centers. - Plan and execute telecom cutover and migration activities. - Ensure minimal operational disruption during brownfield modifications. - Prepare commissioning dossiers and turnover packages. - Support Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) and final handover activities. Experience Required - Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore project. - Proven experience in telecom commissioning experience - Experience commissioning telecom systems on Offshore platforms, Wellhead Towers (WHTs), Jackets and topsides, Brownfield offshore facilities - Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background. - Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage. #LI-AS1 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Closing Date 30/09/2026 Ref No 16078
