Construction Engineer (Piping)

Construction Engineer (Piping) Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Construction Engineer (Piping) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi. Qualification Required - The candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university.. Responsibilities - Support for offshore oil & gas projects during fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and pre-commissioning phases. - Ensures that all piping construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and project schedules. - Review piping construction drawings, isometrics, spool drawings, and work packs. - Develop and support construction methodologies, execution plans, and installation procedures. - Monitor piping fabrication, erection, fit-up, welding, testing, and reinstatement activities. - Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved procedures and project requirements. - Coordinate piping construction activities with structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. - Review engineering deliverables for constructability and installation feasibility - Respond to site technical queries and coordinate engineering clarifications - Ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). - Monitor welding productivity and quality performance. - Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities. - Coordinate hydrostatic and pneumatic testing activities. - Ensure proper test package preparation and completion. - Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and applicable standards. - Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication yard, offshore installation, and commissioning teams. - Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity. - Prepare construction reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
