Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist in Critical Care Medicine. You will manage critically ill patients in our state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role requires advanced clinical expertise, rapid decision-making skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment and ensure the highest standards of patient safety. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and treat patients with life-threatening conditions. - Manage advanced life support systems and mechanical ventilation. - Perform invasive procedures including central lines and intubations. - Lead the ICU multidisciplinary rounds and care planning. - Coordinate care with surgical, medical, and diagnostic specialties. - Respond immediately to hospital codes and medical emergencies. - Maintain accurate, real-time electronic medical records (EMR). - Participate in quality improvement and clinical audit programs. - Educate and support residents, nurses, and allied health staff. - Communicate prognosis and treatment plans clearly to families. Requirements: Required Qualifications and Experience - MD, MBBS, or equivalent recognized medical degree. - Completion of a recognized Higher Residency in Critical Care. - Minimum of 4 years of experience post-residency certification. - Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Critical Care Specialist. - Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Skills and Competencies - Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and organ support therapies. - Strong leadership capabilities under high-pressure clinical scenarios. - Exceptional communication skills for patient and family interactions. - Proficiency in medical software and clinical documentation.
