Manages and closely monitor day to day ship's marine activities/aspects for smooth activities at sea and port without delays and accident. Ensuring vessel availability, performance, integrity, and safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards with continuous focus to achieve excellence in Operations, Health & Safety Management, Minimizing Environmental Impacts, Optimizing Costs etc. \u2022 Monitor work activities such as voyage performance which include speed and fuel consumption to ensure achievement of assigned targets. \u2022 Define work deliverables and achievement milestones in accordance with approved targets. \u2022 Study and examine progress of daily works and recommends alterations to work plan to meet approved schedules \u2022 Inspect and report work conditions and recommends modifications to eliminate safety hazards to personnel, environment, or assets \u2022 Distribute and monitor compliance to changes in work instructions in accordance with revisions or alterations to international or state regulations \u2022 Interact with counterparts, ships masters, and external agencies to resolve operational conflicts and facilitate ships passage and voyage requirements \u2022 Contribute to the development and approval of ships contingency plans and participates in emergency exercises to ensure preparedness and promote safety culture \u2022 Provide professional advice and act as marine expert to team members and the organization on related matters \u2022 Review and evaluate reports, logbooks, and statistics submitted by vessels and management staff members to ensure ships are being operated in accordance with approved procedures \u2022 Participate in fleet assessment reviews to promote safety awareness amongst vessels crews and recommends improvements to existing procedures \u2022 Assigning Fuel and Fresh water quota on monthly basis for vessel consumption and monitor their consumption with analytical tools. \u2022 Act as liaison between the ships and agents, charterers, and other external stakeholders to ensure preparation and completion of necessary requirements prior to ships arrival/departure to port and sailing to sea \u2022 Respond to ship master\u2019s inquiries on voyage schedules and other matters of concern to avoid any confusion or operational delays and to ensure clarity of voyage orders. \u2022 Monitor and audit fleet vessels management standards and operating conditions and oversee the safety of operations related to marine activities to ensure compliance to safety, regulatory, state, and class requirements. \u2022 Take part in incident investigations and monitors progress of corrective actions to ensure close outs of recommendations. \u2022 Ensure business continuity and contract administration of all fleet vessels (owned fleet and chartered fleet). \u2022 Ensure all payable/receivable items related to fleet operations are processed and submitted on time as per contractual obligations \u2022 Maintain record for Fleet utilization which include On-hire and Off-hire records. \u2022 Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders for vessel release from operations to carry out scheduled maintenance and surveys. \u2022 Carry out Marine Contractor audits as per ADNOC requirements and ensure all findings are closed within stipulated duration \u2022 Carry out Marine Contractor evaluation based on performance of chartered vessels \u2022 Technical evaluation and inspection of new hire and new build vessels to verify compliance with ADNOC standards \u2022 Evaluating marine crew suitability as per ADNOC standards. \u2022 Act as Focal point for internal and external Department Audits \u2022 Master Mariner / Chief Engineer certificate \u2022 Minimum 6 (six) years\u2019 experience in Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
