Key Responsibilities • Translate and implement company's global HSE vision, strategy, policies, and standards across the assigned regional portfolio. • Champion a strong safety culture that prioritizes proactive risk management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. • Act as the senior HSE advisor to executive leadership, Project Directors, and Design & Construction stakeholders. • Drive consistency in HSE governance, systems, and best practices across multiple projects. • Provide end-to-end HSE leadership throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and transition to operations. • Partner with Project Directors, Construction Leads, PMO, Engineering, and Operations to integrate HSE principles into project planning and execution. • Ensure HSE risks are identified, assessed, and effectively mitigated throughout the project lifecycle. • Support operational readiness activities to ensure seamless transition from construction to live operations. • Establish robust HSE governance frameworks aligned with international standards and local regulatory requirements. • Oversee regional HSE audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and assurance programmes. • Ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, inspections, and incident investigations. • Lead investigations into significant incidents, high-potential events, and near misses.. • Promote innovation and best practices that enhance health, safety, environmental performance, and operational resilience. • Present executive-level reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. • Build strong relationships with regulatory authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, and industry partners. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline. • Master's degree in HSE, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is required. • Chartered Membership (CMIOSH), CSP, CRSP, or equivalent professional accreditation is highly desirable. • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) is an advantage. • Minimum 18–20 years of progressive HSE experience across major construction, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects. • At least 8–10 years in senior leadership positions managing regional or multi-project HSE portfolios and operations. • Extensive experience supporting large-scale data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or complex construction projects and operations. • Proven experience embedding HSE throughout design, construction, commissioning, and operational transition. • Strong understanding of international HSE standards, regulatory frameworks, and contractor management. • Demonstrated success in developing high-performing HSE teams and driving organisational safety culture.
