Compliance Operations Analyst

About RemotePass RemotePass exists because talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. Backed by EBRD and trusted by 800+ companies across 150+ countries, RemotePass is the platform that gives businesses the infrastructure to hire anyone, anywhere — and gives workers in emerging markets the financial tools and global access they deserve. RemotePass is the only platform that combines Employer of Record, contractor management, direct employment, and corporate spend cards in a single product — rated 4.8/5 on G2, trusted by Spotify, Logitech, and Deloitte, and operating across 150+ countries. We are backed by leading global investors, including Oraseya Capital, Endeavor Catalyst, Khwarizmi Ventures, Flyer One Ventures, Access Bridge Ventures, A15, Swiss Founders Fund, and Plug & Play. The role RemotePass verifies, screens, and monitors clients and contractors through risk-based onboarding and compliance workflows before payment activity is enabled. We're growing our Compliance Operations team and looking for an Analyst to help handle the day-to-day: reviewing company documents, verifying contractor identities, running sanctions checks, and flagging anything that doesn't look right. You'll work closely with two other analysts and report into our Head of Operations, with our Head of Compliance as your escalation point for anything that needs a second set of eyes. You don't need to be a compliance expert on day one — you need real hands-on exposure to KYC/KYB and a sharp eye for detail, and we'll help you build the rest. What you'll do - Review client KYB documentation — corporate registration, ownership structure, proof of operations, authorized representatives - Support contractor KYC — verifying IDs, resolving address or payment detail mismatches, handling jurisdictional flags - Run sanctions, PEP, and adverse media checks using our approved tools and procedures - Investigate payment issues — failed payouts, payment detail changes, cross-border payment concerns - Keep our compliance trackers, evidence folders, and case notes accurate and audit-ready - Escalate potential fraud, sanctions risk, unusual activity, or policy violations quickly and clearly. - Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Operations on client-facing requests Benefits - Remote-First Culture: We don't just sell remote work; we live it. Enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere. - Hyper-Growth: Be part of a company that is consistently recognized for its rapid expansion and innovation. - Inclusion Matters: We are committed to building a diverse team. We value different perspectives and empower every individual to bring their authentic self to work.
