Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Specialist of Data Science & Analytics (26003014)Job Description Specialist of Data Science & Analytics - (26003014) Job Description Strategic Objectives • Support the implementation of KHDA’s data science and analytics frameworks aligned with institutional priorities and evidence-based decision-making. • Contribute to strategic analytical initiatives that support educational performance improvement and policy development. • Support the enhancement of institutional analytical maturity through advanced data analysis and reporting methodologies. • Contribute to predictive analytics and trend analysis initiatives to identify educational risks, performance gaps, and future opportunities. • Support the development of data-driven insights to improve operational effectiveness, stakeholder experience, and sector outcomes. • Benchmark emerging trends and best practices in data science, educational analytics, and artificial intelligence relevant to KHDA’s ecosystem. • Contribute to enhancing KHDA’s data governance, reporting quality, and analytical standards. • Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives through evidence-based recommendations and analytical insights. Operational Objectives• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze educational and operational data from multiple sources.• Develop dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and analytical reports for management and stakeholders.• Support administration and analytics related to international and national assessments including TIMSS, PIRLS, PISA, TALIS, and EMSAT.• Apply statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and trend analysis techniques to support strategic insights and reporting.• Monitor data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance and reporting standards.• Conduct data interpretation and translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.• Support data-driven studies, research initiatives, and institutional performance assessments.• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support analytical and reporting requirements.• Assist in developing data methodologies, indicators, and analytical models aligned with international practices.• Support communication and presentation of analytical findings in Arabic and English.• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and institutional reporting frameworks.• Ensure timely preparation and submission of analytical deliverables and performance reports. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.• Master’s degree is preferred.• Minimum: 3 years of relevant experience with Master’s degree, or 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree.• Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, statistical analysis, or educational analytics.• Experience in data visualization and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.• Familiarity with predictive analytics, data modeling, and analytical methodologies.• Knowledge of data governance, data quality standards, and reporting compliance requirements.• Experience in handling large datasets and translating data into strategic insights.• Knowledge of international educational assessment frameworks is preferred.• Professional certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields are preferred.
