There are a number of entities and institutions operating under its umbrella, including Port Rashid, Jebel Ali Port, Al Hamriya Port, which are managed by Dubai Ports Authority, in addition to the Department of Planning and Development - Trakhees, the Dubai Maritime Authority and the Office of the Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows, as well as the investment arm and security arm of the corporation, represented by Investment Department and Security Department.Job Description REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND UBOReview Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) declarations, corporate records and supporting documentation to verify that submitted information is complete, adequate, accurate and up to date.Conduct routine compliance monitoring and preliminary risk assessments of registered legal persons in accordance with approved risk criteria, procedures and monitoring plans.Identify and document UBO discrepancies, missing information, unusual ownership arrangements, AML/CFT red flags and potential instances of non-compliance for further review or escalation.Liaise with registered legal persons to obtain clarifications, supporting documentation and required corrective actions, and follow up on outstanding compliance requirements within prescribed timescales.Support desk-based reviews, compliance inspections and other verification activities by preparing case files, reviewing supporting documentation, recording findings and monitoring agreed corrective actions.Maintain complete, accurate and reliable compliance data, case records, correspondence, statistics and audit trails within relevant regulatory systems and databases.Assist in preparing periodic compliance reports, management dashboards, regulatory submissions and information required to support national risk assessments, AML/CFT effectiveness assessments and internal reviews.Support compliance awareness activities by responding to routine enquiries and assisting in the preparation of guidance materials, regulatory notices, presentations and training sessions.Support enforcement and regulatory information-exchange activities by compiling relevant documentation, preparing correspondence and coordinating approved information requests with competent authorities and relevant internal stakeholders.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant UBO, AML/CFT and regulatory developments, and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes, controls, templates and operating procedures. A minimum of two to four years’ relevant experience in regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO), corporate registration, financial crime, regulatory supervision, audit, risk management or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Public Policy, Risk Management, Business Administration or a related discipline. UAE nationality is required.
Review Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) declarations, corporate records and supporting documentation to verify completeness, accuracy and up-to-date information.
