FLOORHAND

The Floorman is responsible for working the rig floor during drilling operations and performing duties as needed to make rig and operation run smoothly. Role: - Work rig floor when operating. - Keep work areas clean at all times. - Assist wherever needed around rig. Responsibilities: - Personally responsible for own safety and conducting oneself to the standards of Nabors Policies and Procedures - Work on rig floor when drilling and tripping. - Always keep work areas clean and make a safe working environment. - Attend and participate in all safety meeting and drills. - Be involved in the Smart Program - Always be aware of your surroundings and pay attention when working tongs or operating air hoists. - Always use proper lifting techniques when lifting heavy materials or items - Always wear your Personal Protective Equipment - Work safely at all times - Work together as a team - Keep a good attitude. - Help as needed to keep rig running efficiently and properly. - Assist Operator Rep. if asked in whatever duties are needed. - Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses to direct supervisor. - If not sure on how to do something properly, ask for help and guidance. - Always watch out for your fellow crewmembers and correct them if you see them doing something incorrectly. - Do your best to keep all rig and location clean and organized at all times. - Do whatever is asked of you to the best of your ability. Minimum years of Experience: 2 Years of experience in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant assignments. Qualifications: High School or Equivalent and above. Good knowledge of English.
