QAQC CIVIL ENGINEER

- Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan. - Setting-up/establishing and monitoring all project QA/QC - Implementing project procedures and PQP, on approval by the Client - Reviewing Method Statements, preparing corresponding Inspection & Test Plans and checklists/forms and obtaining approval from Client, as required - Planning and allocating various QA/QC activities to team members - Orientating/training staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements - Coordinating with the site team for effective implementation of the approved PQP - Coordinating with subcontractors for implementation applicable parts of the PQP - Identifying, calibrating, reviewing and maintaining a list of testing and measuring equipment - Identifying testing laboratories and obtaining approvals - Inspecting and testing incoming materials, activities/workmanship per ITP and maintaining identifiable and traceable records - Coordinating with the site team to prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs) - Coordinating inspections and tests, per the approved ITP, with the Clients and obtaining clearances Qualifications: Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) Experience: 5-10 years

Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE). 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects.

Prepare and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP). Establish and monitor QA/QC processes. Review method statements and prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists; obtain client approval. Plan and allocate QA/QC activities to team members. Train staff, workers, and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements. Coordinate with site team and subcontractors to implement the approved PQP. Calibrate, review, and maintain testing equipment; identify testing laboratories and obtain approvals. Inspect and test incoming materials and workmanship per ITP; maintain traceable records. Coordinate RFIs and inspections/tests with clients and obtain clearances.
