A memorable In-Room Dining experience starts long before the meal reaches the guest’s door. It begins with a warm voice, careful listening and getting every detail just right. We’re looking for an In-Room Dining Order Taker who can turn a simple phone call into a personalised dining experience, confidently guiding guests through our menus and ensuring every order is accurate from the first call to final delivery. A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: ● Answering In-Room Dining calls promptly and professionally, creating a warm and welcoming experience for every guest ● Taking food and beverage orders accurately, including special requests, dietary requirements, allergies and preferred delivery times ● Knowing our In-Room Dining menus, beverage selections, daily specials and item availability so you can confidently guide guests and make recommendations ● Suggesting suitable dishes, beverages and accompaniments to enhance the guest’s dining experience ● Entering orders accurately into Micros/POS and ensuring all details are clearly communicated to the kitchen and In-Room Dining team ● Coordinating closely with Culinary and service colleagues to ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly and on time ● Handling guest questions, requests and concerns professionally, following up where needed to make sure expectations are met
