About the role

Requirements

• Total Years of Experience:
• - 5–10+ years of overall experience in software development
• - Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Cortex platform (MUST)
• Cortex Expertise (MANDATORY):
• - Strong hands-on experience with Cortex platform (end-to-end)
• - Deep understanding of Cortex architecture, modules, and configurations
• - Experience in Cortex customization, workflows, and integrations
• - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Cortex-based systems
• Programming & Technologies:
• - Strong proficiency in one or more: Java / .NET / Python
• - Experience with RESTful APIs & Web Services (SOAP)
• - Solid experience with SQL & database design
• - Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Integration & Systems:
• - Experience integrating Cortex with enterprise systems
• - Understanding of middleware and messaging systems
• - Familiarity with API gateways and service orchestration
• Tools & Platforms:
• - Experience with Git / version control systems
• - CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• - Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure) is a plus
• Domain Experience (Highly Preferred):
• - Banking or Financial Services ( core banking environment)
• - Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems

Responsibilities

• Core Responsibilities:
• Cortex Development & Customization:
• - Design and develop advanced solutions using Cortex platform capabilities
• - Customize Cortex modules based on business and technical requirements
• - Develop reusable components, workflows, and services within Cortex ecosystem
• - Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of Cortex applications
• Architecture & Solution Design:
• - Lead system design and architecture discussions for Cortex implementations
• - Define technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• - Identify optimization opportunities and improve system efficiency
• - Ensure secure and robust system design
• Integration & APIs:
• - Integrate Cortex with core banking systems, third-party applications, and external APIs
• - Design and implement REST/SOAP services
• - Handle data exchange, transformation, and synchronization across systems
• Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
• - Analyze system performance and resolve bottlenecks
• - Debug and fix complex technical issues in Cortex environments
• - Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions
• Leadership & Collaboration:
• - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
• - Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
• - Work closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders
• - Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Deployment & DevOps:
• - Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• - Manage version control and release cycles
• - Ensure smooth migration between environments (Dev / UAT / Production)
