Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior leadership role will partner closely with operational and clinical leaders to drive performance across our network of community-based outpatient clinics, healthcare services, diagnostic operations, and future hospital expansion initiatives. Applicants without significant healthcare finance experience will not be considered. We are specifically seeking candidates who have held senior finance leadership positions within hospitals, healthcare groups, clinic networks, medical centres, day surgery facilities, or other healthcare providers. About the Role This is not a traditional accounting or reporting role. We are looking for a commercially focused healthcare finance leader who understands the operational realities of delivering healthcare services and can translate financial information into meaningful business decisions. The successful candidate will have experience supporting multi-site healthcare operations and working directly with executives, physicians, operational leaders, and corporate stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, supporting healthcare growth initiatives, improving operational performance, and ensuring strong financial governance across the business. Key Responsibilities Healthcare Financial Performance Drive financial performance across clinics and healthcare business units Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability and operational efficiency Monitor physician productivity, revenue trends, patient volumes, service line performance, and payer mix Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational outcomes Support business growth and healthcare service development initiatives Financial Planning & Strategy Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes Develop financial models and strategic business cases Support new clinic developments, healthcare expansion projects, and future hospital initiatives Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership Evaluate investment opportunities and strategic growth initiatives Governance & Controls Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, governance, and audit readiness Oversee monthly management reporting and financial performance reviews Manage statutory requirements and external audit relationships Support risk management and business continuity initiatives Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing finance team Foster a culture of accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement Act as a trusted advisor to executive and operational leadership teams Essential Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership position Extensive Healthcare Finance Experience Within: Hospitals Healthcare Groups Medical Centres Clinic Networks Day Surgery Centres Multi-site Healthcare Operations Demonstrated Experience In: Healthcare Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Healthcare business partnering Healthcare operations finance Physician productivity analysis Revenue cycle and healthcare KPIs Payer mix analysis Multi-site healthcare performance management Business case development and healthcare investments Candidates Unlikely to Be Suitable This position is not intended for candidates whose experience is primarily within: Banking Manufacturing FMCG Retail Construction Audit-only environments Corporate FP&A without healthcare operations exposure Applicants must be able to demonstrate direct experience supporting healthcare delivery businesses. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory. Proven experience in the healthcare sector (hospitals, clinics, or healthcare groups is required). Strong and demonstrable expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is essential. Minimum 10–15+ years of finance experience, including senior leadership roles. Experience managing multi-entity or group-level finance operations. Highly desirable: Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and integration projects. Experience supporting expansion strategies, new market entry, or investor-led growth environments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA is strongly preferred.
Lead all financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. Oversee monthly management reporting and financial performance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timely insights. Drive business performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and cost optimisation strategies. Lead financial modelling and feasibility studies for new clinics, expansions, and investments. Support and contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and investment activities, including financial due diligence and business case evaluation (highly desirable). Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks across the healthcare division. Manage group reporting, audit, tax, and regulatory requirements. Partner closely with executive leadership to deliver data-driven decision-making and strategy execution. Develop and implement SOPs, DoA, and financial policies to support operational excellence. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple entities.
