In addition to reviewing material submittals, coordinating testing, and monitoring compliance with quality requirements.
Requirements
- - BSc Civil or Geotechnical/geological Engineering
- - 7-10 years of experience
- - Infrastructure Experience
- - Asphalt and Concrete Mix Design Experience
- - QA/QC Experience
- Responsibilities:
- - Review and approve all material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- - Monitor batching, production, and placement processes to ensure consistency with approved mix designs.
- - Oversee material testing programs including field and laboratory testing.
- - Coordinate with contractors and laboratories to resolve material-related issues.
- - Evaluate and approve concrete and asphalt mix designs, ensuring suitability for project requirements and environmental conditions.
- - Ensure QA/QC compliance for all materials used across the project.
- Key Competencies:
- - Technical: Material engineering for infrastructure projects, Concrete and asphalt mix design review and approval, Laboratory and field testing (ASTM/AASHTO standards), QA/QC procedures
- - Behavioral: Detail-oriented, analytical.
