Job Summary The role holder is responsible for actively participating in all aspects of transaction origination and execution of M&A Advisory (buy-side and sell-side transactions), and Equity Capital Markets transactions (e.g. IPOs, rights issues, block trades, follow-on offerings, etc.) in order to achieve P&L targets for Global M&A Advisory and ECM in line with GCF’s strategy and budget objectives. The role holder is also responsible for collaborating with other Client Service and Product teams to ensure superior service for the clients. Key Responsibilities Support origination and execution of M&A Advisory and Equity Capital Markets transactions, with primary focus on Egypt. Manage assigned aspects of transaction execution under the guidance of the relevant transaction leader. Ensure financial, legal, risk, compliance, and due diligence reviews are completed for transactions. Prepare pitch materials, marketing presentations, information memoranda, investor profiles, and transaction documentation. Build financial models to support transaction origination, analysis, and execution. Monitor M&A, ECM, and macro market developments to support transaction assessment and client discussions. Collaborate with IB&M, Client Coverage, and Product teams to maximize revenue opportunities and deliver high-quality client service. Apply the best international practices, corporate finance standards, departmental policies, systems, and procedures. Support continuous improvement, professional development, performance goals, and adherence to FAB and departmental requirements. Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or any related discipline. 5 – 10 years’ experience in a corporate finance / M&A / ECM environment Advanced knowledge of and proficiency in (i) analyzing company financial statement, and (ii) company valuation techniques Advanced understanding and knowledge of stock technical trading is a plus Recent work experience with exposure to transaction origination and execution Training or time spent in a recognizable investment bank in either London, New York, Singapore or Hong Kong will be looked at favorably. Knowledge of Fund Administration services will be beneficial.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or any related discipline. Minimum Experience: 5 – 10 years’ experience in a corporate finance / M&A / ECM environment. Advanced knowledge of and proficiency in analyzing company financial statements, and company valuation techniques. Advanced understanding and knowledge of stock technical trading is a plus. Training or time spent in a recognisable investment bank in either London, New York, Singapore or Hong Kong will be looked at favourably.
