About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a - Procurement Manager to join Jumeirah The Red Sea. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • To manage the business with the cost-effective procurement and delivery of all requirements of resort operation. • Scrutinizing the quality of items. • Ensure the purchase contracts meet company and local requirements. • Responsible for the sourcing of new products to maintain a high quality • Prepare comparison of products including sampling where appropriate • Monitor and respond to supplier performance implementing appropriate corrective actions and advising of impending business risk. • Attend daily morning briefing and all meetings related to purchasing system • Identify and maximize opportunities for cost and price reductions • Identify, propose, and implement revenue generating initiatives where appropriate • Ensure verification of authorization of purchase requisition. • Process and expedite Purchase Orders utilizing the companies' procurement system as per the company's policy and procedures • Ensure all suppliers are in compliance with company policy and procedures •
