Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Lead – ISE Salary: Competitive Grade GG11 Location: Riyadh JOB PURPOSE International Systems Engineering (ISE) provide the IT capability and service both onsite and centrally to all projects and programmes in BAE Systems Saudi Arabia and to our partner companies, BAE Systems Saudi Development and Training and SMSCMC. ISE is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible to operate and support network services ensuring optimum service availability and performance. Meet agreed SLAs, customer requirements and contractual agreements JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES People Management: • Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent • Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with the policies and procedures • Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise the team and regular feedback on performance • Promote a high-performance working environment and ISE’s values. Technical: • Involved with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of existing or future network infrastructures. • Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate communication and issue resolutions. • Perform routine health checks and preventive measures on assigned systems. • Monitor the network and report network failures or degradations to more senior team members and the direct manager. • Run proof of concept deployment and troubleshoot issues to identify and address root causes. • Follow and maintain ISE network operations and security standards. • Work on maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network components in operation. Administrative: • Actively collaborate with other groups in IT Operations to support projects and day-to-day operations. • Proactively and effectively communicate status, plan-of-action and resolution of reported issues. • Consistently provide internal and external customers and technology partners with quality support experience. • Effectively manage case escalations to the Network Operations Manager while maintaining customer communications. • Provides assistance and guidance to junior team members.
