Fitter

Assemble, install, align, and fit mechanical components, pipes, structures, and equipment as per drawings and specifications. Perform fabrication, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting activities on construction and industrial projects. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical sketches, and work instructions. Carry out maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical parts and equipment. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and positioning of components during installation. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. Follow company health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times. Report equipment defects, material shortages, and technical issues to supervisors. Coordinate with welders, fabricators, mechanics, and other trades to complete work efficiently.

High School certificate, ITI, Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Fitting trade. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Fitter in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or oil & gas projects. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication details. Experience with mechanical installation, fabrication, and maintenance works. Familiarity with tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment. Good knowledge of safety procedures and site practices. Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
