Supervise structural works during construction of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and high-rise building projects. Review and monitor contractor's structural activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, structural steel, post-tensioning works, and other structural elements. Monitor project progress and report on structural construction activities. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, contractors, and authorities. Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and requests for inspection (RFIs). Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports. Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Attend progress meetings and technical coordination meetings. Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, DEWA, and other relevant authority requirements where applicable. Verify quality control procedures and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Support project handover activities and preparation of final documentation.
Education Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering. Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage. Experience Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering. At least 3-5 years of UAE/Dubai experience in building construction supervision projects. Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments. Consultancy supervision experience is highly preferred.
