Graduate - Civil Engineer (Bahraini National)

Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional. Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level. The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.) Key Responsibilities: Develops designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as per specific discipline requirement. Works on drawings under the supervision of an experienced Engineer. Assists with the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs under project timelines. Under Supervision, performs work following the agreed-upon budget and schedule. When required, collects and analyses information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models. Uses computer software as a tool for solving fundamental engineering problems. Coordinates with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process. Participates in design progress and coordination meetings. Checks and ensures the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy to design instructions. Actively seeks information, opportunities to participate and contribute, and develops efficiencies and effectiveness. Contributes by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.

Bachelor (Masters is preferable) of Science in Civil /Coastal Maritime Engineering from an accredited University Must have minimum academic background on coastal processes, design of structures in marine environment such as concrete quay walls, jetties, beaches; armoured shore protection structure, etc. Bahraini National. Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no earlier than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program. Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above. If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements. Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead
