Senior Project Manager (Aircraft Hangar)

WSP is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major Aircraft Hangar Development Project in Riyadh. Acting as the Project Management Consultant (PMC), the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and management of the project from design through construction and handover. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record delivering aircraft hangar facilities, including MRO hangars, maintenance hangars, paint hangars, aircraft support facilities, and other aviation-related developments. Previous PMC/PMCM consultancy experience on aviation projects is essential.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline. Master's Degree is preferred. Minimum 20 years of total experience in project management and construction delivery. Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director on large-scale building or aviation projects. Mandatory experience delivering aircraft hangar projects. Must have proven experience in Aircraft Maintenance Hangars, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Facilities Aircraft Paint Hangars Previous experience working within a PMC/PMCM consultancy environment is mandatory. Strong knowledge of project controls, contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder management. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple contractors. Strong understanding of international construction standards and project delivery best practices. Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client management skills. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
