Director, Financial Planning & Modelling

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the university's financial strategy and ensure long-term sustainability. The Director will play a pivotal role in evaluating and structuring strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and research commercialization opportunities. They will also champion the adoption of AI-powered tools to enhance financial analysis and reporting, driving innovation within the finance function.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master's in Finance preferred. CFA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is an asset. Minimum 14 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in investment banking, Big 4 deals advisory, or strategic finance is highly advantageous. Advanced skills in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment feasibility assessment. Proficiency in valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable transactions, and venture valuation. Experience with AI-enabled financial analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage complex projects. A passion for innovation and a commitment to continuous learning.
