Circular Economy and Sustainable Conversion Technologies: Advancing catalysis, reaction engineering, and process systems to enable sustainable production of fuels, chemicals, and materials. Energy Systems and Electrochemical Engineering: Integrating materials design, thermodynamics, kinetics, and transport principles to improve energy production, conversion, storage, and utilization, including hydrogen, batteries, and electrochemical systems.
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. Demonstrated record of research excellence with high-impact publications. Proven teaching experience and success in student supervision. Evidence of ability to secure and manage externally funded research projects. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and contributing to departmental growth.
