Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Riyadh. The Senior Accountant will oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations. The role involves reviewing and improving internal controls, monitoring cash flows, and coordinating with auditors and cross-functional teams. The Senior Accountant will also analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management and support process optimization within the finance function. Qualifications • Strong proficiency in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making. • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements. • Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems). • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage. • Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably in a corporate or similar environment.
