This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations within the company’s ERP system, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, processing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank and company accounts. The accountant will generate and review financial statements and reports, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. The role includes coordinating with other departments to validate financial data in the ERP, monitoring system accuracy, and supporting system improvements or upgrades. The individual will also help prepare documentation for audits and contribute to process optimization and internal control enhancements. Qualifications • Strong general accounting skills, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. • Hands-on experience with ERP accounting modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar), including data entry, validation, and system navigation. • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and local financial regulations, with the ability to apply them in daily operations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools for financial analysis and reporting. • Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage. • Experience in technology or AI-driven companies is a plus, as well as familiarity with data-driven decision-making environments. • Ability to work on-site in Kuwait City and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, evolving organizational setting.
