VP - IT Delivery & Digital Enablement

Role: VP – IT Delivery & Digital Enablement Location: Dubai, UAE Recruiter: Hays Technology Executive Search At Hays, we are currently partnering with a prominent aviation group in Dubai to recruit a visionary Vice President – IT Delivery & Digital Enablement. This role will lead the strategic direction of technology across airline operations, driving large-scale digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Data Analytics), and embedding agility across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute a modern IT strategy (Mobile-First, Cloud-First, Digital-First) aligned with business objectives. • Digital Transformation: Co-create and launch digital programs to optimize operational efficiency, customer experience, and revenue growth. • Portfolio & Budget Management: Oversee the annual IT delivery roadmap, enterprise budgets, vendor procurement, and complex SLA negotiations. • Service Excellence & Governance: Drive IT service management to minimize operational disruption while maintaining compliance and risk standards. • Executive Leadership: Partner with executive leadership (Chiefs and Department Heads) and direct a high-performing team of technology leaders. Key Requirements • 15+ years of progressive IT experience across IT Delivery, Product, and Project Management. • 5+ years in a senior IT leadership role managing large-scale transformation programs and teams. • Deep knowledge of the Airline / Aviation industry. • Active PMP and SAFe certifications. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
