Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: * Extensive UAE experience, with strong knowledge of local authority submissions, approvals, and regulations. * Design, develop, and review electrical systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and industrial projects. * Prepare and coordinate electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit. * Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery. * Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. * Ensure designs comply with UAE authority requirements, local electrical codes, and project requirements. * Support project planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery of engineering milestones. Key Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage). * Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE. * Proven experience in electrical design consultancy, including authority submissions and approvals in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., DEWA, ADDC/TAQA, SEWA, FEWA/Etihad Water and Electricity, Civil Defence, and other relevant authorities). * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office. Experience with ETAP, Dialux Evo, or similar electrical design software is preferred. * Thorough understanding of UAE electrical regulations, load calculations, lighting design, power distribution, emergency power systems, fire alarm systems, ELV systems, and lightning protection systems. * Experience in designing and coordinating electrical systems for hotels and industrial facilities, including coordination with specialized building services. * Excellent project coordination, technical review, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers. * Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality work within project schedules.
