Location: Dubai Job Type: Full-time, on site Job Summary We are seeking a sharp, data-driven Business Performance Analyst to take ownership of our company performance tracking. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of our business dashboards, monitoring real-time metrics across all company departments. Your main focus will be looking deep into the numbers of each distinct business unit, as well as analyzing our overall Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, to uncover trends, pinpoint inefficiencies, and explain the stories behind the numbers. The ideal candidate does not just read data or build reports; they provide the commercial judgment and actionable recommendations that help our leadership team optimize departmental performance and maximize profitability. Core Responsibilities: • Dashboard Ownership & Monitoring: Actively maintain, track, and optimize company-wide and department-specific performance dashboards to ensure accurate, real-time data visibility. • Departmental Deep-Dives: Analyze operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for individual departments to assess productivity, identify operational bottlenecks, and highlight areas of strong or weak performance. • Financial & P&L Analysis: Evaluate the company's overall Profit and Loss (P&L) performance, conducting variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and historical trends to determine financial health and profitability drivers. • Strategic Recommendations: Convert analytical findings into clear, proactive recommendations for department heads and executive leadership to drive cost efficiency and revenue growth. • Data Reconciliation: Collaborate with department leaders to validate data integrity, ensuring that scattered internal numbers are consolidated into unified, accurate reporting packs. • Ad-Hoc Analytics: Conduct rapid-response, cross-functional data analysis to support management decisions during product launches, strategic shifts, or market changes. Requirements and Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. • Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in business performance analysis, financial analysis, or management reporting. • Technical Skills: High proficiency in data visualization and dashboard software (such as PowerBI or Tableau) along with advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets skills. Solid experience with SQL or data query tools is a strong plus. • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial metrics, budgeting, variance analysis, and corporate P&L structures. • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to translate complex numerical datasets into simple, clear visual summaries and written narratives for non-technical stakeholders. • Mindset: Highly proactive, details-oriented, and commercially aware, with a passion for finding the "why" behind the numbers.
