Technology Procurement Specialist IT & Digital Categories 12k Location JAFZA Our client, a well-established retail company based within the UAE is looking for a Technology Procurement Specialist – This is a new role to keep up with the growing demand for services. We are looking for a results-driven Technology Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across IT and Digital categories — including software licenses, hardware, cloud subscriptions, SaaS platforms, managed services, and technology-led projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, negotiation expertise, and process discipline to drive cost efficiency, vendor accountability, and governance compliance across the technology supply chain. This role works closely with IT, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and Business stakeholders to ensure procurement decisions align with organizational priorities, risk frameworks, and value-for-money objectives. Responsibilities will include: • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Execution • Vendor & Contract Management • Governance, Compliance & Risk • Stakeholder & Cost Management Applicants for this role should have: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Technology Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, IT Commercials, or Procurement Operations • Proven experience sourcing and negotiating contracts for SaaS platforms, software licensing, IT infrastructure, managed services, cloud services, and professional/consulting services • Hands-on exposure to procurement platforms such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar P2P/S2P systems • Prior experience working in a shared services, enterprise, or regional procurement function is an added advantage If you feel that your experience matches these criteria, please send your C.V. to [email protected] Show more Show less
